The Company

Zest4Talent are excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a growing international corporate company specialising in security and biometrics (Fingerprint access control). This role is 100% new business sales generation and is field based. The basic salary is c£35k with an uncapped OTE of £60k. You will be offered a company car or allowance ( £500pcm), laptop and mobile as well as ongoing sales training and development opportunities (including external courses). Hybrid working is supported.

Person Specification

You will ideally have some field sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment and have proven sales success. You may have achieved your goals in telesales and be ready to take that next step into the field. You must be self-motivated and determined to succeed. Although achieving sales goals are your objectives a positive customer journey will be a top priority. You will understand a consultative sales process and be a natural rapport builder. Trust and reputation are highly important in this industry so you will want to strive to protect the companies positive brand and image. A full license is essential.

The successful candidate will

  • Understand the sales process from preparation through to close
  • Have experience selling in a field based sales role
  • Be able to liaise at all levels of the organisation to Director level
  • Have experience of time management and territory planning to create a sales pipeline.
  • Have a consultative sales approach
  • Have experience of updating and working with a CRM system
  • Enjoy personal development and be open to training opportunities
  • Liaise effectively with all internal stakeholders including customer service, marketing, finance and operations
