Salary: £81,000 - £105,000
Role clearance type: Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearance. Clearance required to start.

About Your Opportunity:
Northrop Grumman UK deliver mission critical capability into the UK armed forces and their international partners. You will identify, capture and position Northrop Grumman for winning business within maritime, C4I, land and air programmes. You will ultimately be responsible for growing NG’s business across the defence domain.

Your Responsibilities:
- Drive all elements of Business Development for the Defence Operating Unit (OU)
- Lead the Business Development / Capture team for the Defence OU, effectively and efficiently driving high performance and establish complementary relationships with the Corporate Account Lead(s) as required
- Support the development of the annual financial targets and then drive performance to achieve, ideally beat, the allocated annual financial targets
- Establish trusted and collaborative relationships with the US Divisions to understand the company’s product and service offerings, determine the opportunities in the UK market for these products and services and develop appropriate value propositions
- Establish and manage all relevant financial resources in the Defence OU, working collaboratively with the Account Leads and Business Management to plan resource needs and execute/control expenditures
Your Experience:
- Demonstrable track record in winning new business, ideally in a systems integration defence context.
- Highly competent at presenting complex requirements to a broad range of professionals within NG’s business and customers.
- High levels of organisation and focus across CRM (Salesforce) and bid pipeline tools, alongside an ability to write vibrant and powerful reports that secure senior proposal sponsorship.
- Able to translate strategy and vision into action, driving business growth across NG partners
- An inspirational, motivated individual, acting as a catalyst for change and leading colleagues in the capture multiple revenue threads in time critical situations.
