Job opening: Executive Education – Business Development Manager
Office location: London (Chelsea) or Ashridge (Berkhamsted)

Our Digital Sales team who owns our Executive Education platform, Leadership Live (click here to know more) is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be responsible for generating leads to deliver sales through building relationships with potential clients and enthusiastically educating them on our range of services.

The successful candidate will be joining a passionate and successful sales team, who truly believe in the power of our educational programs and have the drive to provide the highest level service for our clients globally. The person in this role will play a significant part in the continued growth of the business, and positively affect the lives of many business leaders.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities in target accounts
  • Develop key relationships with HR and L&D directors and leadership teams to ensure Hult EF is positioned as the preferred partner for their talent and leadership development programs
  • Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify new pockets of need
  • Write and deliver compelling pitch presentations, requiring a thorough knowledge of the market and how our services stand out from competitors
  • Collaborate with other members of the Exec Ed teams and other sales teams to drive the sales process and maximize cross-selling

The skills & experience we look for
  • Minimum 4 years consultative B2B sales experience, targeting senior executive level
  • Strong relational sales skills
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Challenge mindset to influence executives to think differently about people development
  • Knowledge of the executive education market and L&D needs and solutions
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
  • Passion for learning, both for yourself and, on a bigger scale, for organizations
