Job description
An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding yet long established business that is pushing the boundaries of composite manufacturing technology. Our main areas are Aerospace, Defence and Automotive, we specialize in mould design and manufacture for a wide range of composite components from aesthetic panels to structural mechanical components, both in carbon fibre and fibreglass.
A heavily development based business with exciting career opportunities such as CAD design, Cnc setup and operation, prototyping and robotic control.
Applicant will need to have experience of wet lay laminating, and able to adapt processes for different mould types. Good time management skills essential. The majority of the work will be wet lay fibreglass and carbon fibre, utilising vacuum bagging, core materials, pre-preg, as well as mould preparation, and part finishing.
Work based training will be provided for operation of machinery as well as ongoing composite skills development.
Experience in resin infusion and pre-preg prefferred but not essential.
We use a wide range of tooling and processes to produce parts for Automotive, Aerospace and defense. Much of our work is problem solving, and using composites to solve situations where other materials are failing. Candidate needs to have a positive attitude, and work well as part of a small team.
