We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team working on a range of new and existing businesses across Liverpool and Manchester. With brands ranging from coffee shops, late-night cocktail bars, and high-end restaurants the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and a passion for the hospitality industry.This is an amazing opportunity to join a successful and fast-growing business with great career opportunities.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: Up to 35k

  • Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
  • Working as a Business Development Manager you will be part of a vibrant, fast-paced and ambitious team
  • An influential leader who can effectively build and maintain relationships with the local community
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives with the marketing manager and senior sales manager
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Provide Weekly/Monthly Sales reports for senior management review
  • Creating and sending client contracts, internal and external event briefs
  • Drive proactive and reactive sales strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure successful communication and performance of internal events
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving salesAttending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ relative sales experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Liverpool and a strong understanding of Manchester
  • Offers a personal network of contacts in different industries including but limited to; hospitality, television, music, media and culinary, etc...
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
  • Flexibility across weekends and holidays as well as the ability to travel and attend various social functions in the city (when relevant)
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
