Job description

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 500 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.


  • Responsible for the control of all stock movements into and out of stores both physically and on our engineering computer system.
  • Responsible for the control of commercial goods requirements
  • Responsible for the control of aircraft tooling in the hangar
  • Responsible for shipments of materials throughout the Ryanair network.
  • Ensuring stores are controlled and monitored in accordance with E.A.S.A requirements.
  • Assist in the control of time ex / calibration items such as tooling, chemicals.
  • Assist in the smooth running of the PAM tooling store, ensuring procedures are followed
  • Assist with audits with PAM/RYR/IAA Quality
  • Assist in the control of U/S parts and the quarantine area
  • Assist in all activities related to the movement of parts through Stores and the Ryanair Network.
  • Ensuring all materials are controlled in accordance with internal processes and quality procedures

Requirements

  • Proactive, positive approach, ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of AMOS advantageous
  • Understanding of quality processes and procedures
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Experience working within the Airline Industry advantageous
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • Warehouse experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods
