Business Development Manager – EyeGuide
The Company
EyeGuide is a 10 second eye test to assess brain health. It is used to assess sporting concussions and other forms of mild traumatic brain injuries and dementia. We are used by sporting clubs, schools, medical clinics, universities and hospitals across 10 countries globally and we are looking to expand our UK team.
The Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our UK/Europe business. The company is a “start-up” so we are looking for someone to be an instrumental part of the team and grow with the business.
The role is ideally suited to someone with a strong end to end sales experience who also has a passion for sports and/or wellbeing. This is a new, innovative product therefore experience selling complex products and/or services is essential. You must have a high level of enthusiasm and initiative and be passionate about this Industry.
This is a working from home role with considerable time calling and presenting online to leads.
Travel across the UK is required on a semi regular basis.
The Duties
- Manage an end to end sales process from lead generation through to close;
- Researching and developing a thorough knowledge of the sports concussion market and building relationships with key individuals and companies;
- Researching, identifying and attracting new leads including cold calling and participation at trade shows;
- Presenting to leads, writing proposals and closing deals;
- Timely recording of all activities in Customer Relationship Management System;
- Meeting and exceeding agreed targets on a monthly and annual basis;
- Clearly communicating the progress of activities to the local General Manager;
- Forecasting and tracking key account metrics for reporting and budgetary purposes
The Candidate
- Proven record in business development and end to end sales with a focus on complex sales;
- Passionate about sports, health and wellbeing;
- Highly motivated to continually grow and continuously improve in a start-up business;
- Strong ability to establish and maintain solid relationships and networks;
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself, your team and your clients;
- Proven success in identifying and converting high value new business opportunities will be highly regarded;
- Strong negotiation and business acumen skills are very important;
- Results focused with very strong planning and multi-tasking capabilities.
The Renumeration
- Salary plus commission based package to incentivise strong sales performance;
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
