Customer Service Executive

- Potable water testing kits to ensure the crew members on board the ship don’t fall sick
As Customer Service Executive you will be responsible for post-sale order processing through to shipment ensuring the customer receives their correct order, in full and on time.
To succeed in this role, you will be a tenacious, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a customer focused approach to your work. Active listening skills are highly important for this role, as is the desire to learn and develop within an innovative and exciting organisation.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- New sales order processing
- Open order book management ensuring accurate status at all times
- Updating orders with notes and attachments
- First line support for customer queries
- Liaising with credit control to have orders released for shipping
- Liaising with warehouse and purchasing to ensure stock availability
- Ensuring orders are shipped on time
- Proactively obtaining shipping address and pro forma payments
- Taking credit card payments over the telephone
- Ensuring orders are invoiced correctly to the customer PO/Specifications
You’re good at:
We’re looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and who are able to asses and adhere to customer specific instructions. You must also have excellent attention to detail, be able to accurately input data and have good copy checking skills. It’s important that you can also effectively manage your time by prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.
