You will be responsible for delivering product to our restaurant customers. The responsibility of a driver requires first-rate driving as well as, the physical ability to deliver the finest products and customer service to each customer. As a Delivery Driver you will be required to adhere to all laws and regulations of the road as well as following all policies and procedures required by the company and to work as a team to ensure each customer receives the right product on a timely basis.
Sofo Foods is one of the largest family owned wholesale distributors of Italian and ethnic foods in the US, and is currently looking for you to fill the role as an Delivery Driver at our Houston, TX distribution center and become part of our team. You will be helping our restaurant customers by delivering quality products.

Work Environment:
- 5 day work week.
- (1) Day local and (2) Day regional routes.
- All drivers on a (2) route will stay in a hotel paid by the employer.
- Newer vehicles
- 3 axle; 36 – 48 ft. trailers
- Two compartment, multi-temperature
- XATA on board computer in all trucks
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 21 years or older.
- Valid CDL Class A.
- Ability to pass a criminal and driving background, physical ability test, Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug test.
- Ability to speak read and write English for effective communication and exhibit the ability to comprehend directions and report or convey information.
- Ability to compute by adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
- Ability to lift between 30 – 60 lbs., and climb up and down stairs and ramp using a hand cart.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Pay
- 2 day route with tractor trailer $350.00 per day
- 1 day route with tractor trailer $300.00 per day
- Safe Driver Bonus – $1500 annually
