Responsible for obtaining business through partner relationships our Business Development Managers work with both Manufacturers and Franchised Retailers, primarily through digital API products. We're currently seeking an addition to the team, ideally an experienced automotive professional with knowledge of Motor Retailer structure, operations and vehicle funding products such as Hire, Finance Lease and PCP Key Purpose Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our Partners that encourage the success of the channel. Fully understand end-to-end the systems used by our Partners, liaising with the ALD Product team as required during development and in-life, work with Partners and internal teams on the continuous improvement of processes, including the development of systems. Develop and maintain appropriate reporting that allows you to monitor the performance of the programme, identifying any issues relating to risk, compliance, and performance, liaising with stakeholders to promptly resolve identified issues. Summary of Responsibilities Remain fully conversant with our product portfolio and regulations that relate to your area of responsibility. Conduct regular operational review meetings and quarterly strategic review meetings with the Partner, engaging with appropriate stakeholders. Effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders so that they understand the rationale for the project and the requirements of them to ensure successful delivery, provide training and support where needs are identified. Work with our Partners to promote the success of the brand across all sales channels, establish contacts between key Partner/Channel staff. Be an expert in the use of retailer/customer facing systems, able to train partner staff in relation to quoting and progressing deals via our systems including DSi, digital channels and other future systems. Carry out planned and agreed levels of activity in your area of responsibility, in order that you can achieve your objectives. Monitor cross-channel reports to understand volumes and be able to monitor/report on campaigns. Work closely with internal departments to ensure all services levels are maintained. Ensure full and accurate reporting of business activities. Be conversant with the company's strategic objectives. Be supportive of all aspects of cultural programmes within the organisation. Skills, Experience & Background Extensive knowledge of Motor Retailer and or Motor Manufacturer structures and operations. A good understanding of vehicle funding products including Hire, Finance Lease and PCP Self-Motivated, able to work effectively from home with excellent organisational skills Ability to prioritise effectively with a robust decision-making process Articulate, able to create and deliver presentations in person and online Ability and appetite to manage varying workloads that can at times be demanding Numerate able to demonstrate working experience of Microsoft Excel Desire to strive for continuous improvement in personal skills and abilities, in processes and systems Tenacious and resilient Don't meet every single requirement?
