We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Intern to join our team at a placement agent focused on private market investments. The internship will be for 3-6 months with the opportunity to make the role permanent.
We are a small team so you will play a crucial role in supporting us as we raise capital for private market investment opportunities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry and learn about the private markets landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks and ensure efficient coordination of activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential investors, investment opportunities and maintain a comprehensive database of contacts.
- Prepare and update marketing materials, website and social media presence.
- Support the coordination and logistics of client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Assist in managing and organising the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assist in tracking and analysing sales metrics, performance data, and client feedback.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in private markets and alternative investments.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and research skills to gather and synthesise data effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to take on new challenges.
- Prior experience in sales support or financial services is a plus.
