We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Intern to join our team at a placement agent focused on private market investments. The internship will be for 3-6 months with the opportunity to make the role permanent.

We are a small team so you will play a crucial role in supporting us as we raise capital for private market investment opportunities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry and learn about the private markets landscape.

Responsibilities:

Assist the sales team with administrative tasks and ensure efficient coordination of activities.
Conduct market research to identify potential investors, investment opportunities and maintain a comprehensive database of contacts.
Prepare and update marketing materials, website and social media presence.
Support the coordination and logistics of client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Assist in managing and organising the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Assist in tracking and analysing sales metrics, performance data, and client feedback.
Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
Strong interest in private markets and alternative investments.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong analytical and research skills to gather and synthesise data effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Prior experience in sales support or financial services is a plus.
