Job Role

Business Development Executive

Your role as a Business Development Executive is to manage your allocated clients and work on their Telemarketing Campaigns providing them the service they have requested, which will predominantly be, ‘but not limited to’ making calls and sending emails on their behalf. A part of your role will be Account Management where you will need to liaise with your clients by attending virtual meetings with them and sending over daily/weekly reports etc. There will be some admin involved such as updating spreadsheets, compiling proposals and end of campaign reports. You will also be expected to work towards new business targets by self sourcing your own clients and working off internal databases. The role is targeted but we do not set unrealistic targets as we like to reward hard work. To be successful in this role, you will need to have come from a sales background working in a variety of different industries or specialize in one industry such as ‘but not limited’ to Insurance, Software, Advertising etc.

Experience in Lead Generation, Appointment Setting and Closing deals is essential. Ultimately, you will contribute to the growth of our client’s business.

Responsibilities

- Bring in new business for the company by sourcing your own clients and working off internal databases.

- Proactively making outbound calls to businesses to qualify and understand all opportunities effectively by finding a need/interest for the product/services you are selling on behalf of your client. To turn it into a warm lead, an appointment or close the deal.

- Make a minimum of 16-20 calls per hour (Campaign Dependent)

- Create a sales pitch for each of your campaigns or follow your clients if requested.

- Account Management of your clients, including sending daily reports, weekly and Monthly phone, or virtual meetings.

- Attend a Campaign Strategic Meeting with your clients, take notes and compile a proposal of the service we will provide.

- Put together a Campaign Strategy for your campaigns by understanding the value and benefits of the clients’ products/services available to our clients’ prospects.

- Take full responsibility for the Campaigns you manage, making sure we are using our clients’ hours productively giving feedback internally where improvements can be made.

- Managing the admin for your clients, including updating spreadsheets or the CRM you will be working from.

- Manage your own time and prioritize your tasks.

- This is a target driven role and there will be KPIs and targets to be met, which will be rewarded by monthly commission.

- Report to your Manager daily/weekly/monthly.

Requirements

- Self-motivated, with a Yes! attitude.
- Logical thinker who can use their own initiative.
- Have good attention to detail skills.
- Able to work alone without supervision and within a Team environment.
- Have outstanding telephone manner and communication skills.
- Proven history of working in a sales role with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- At least 5 years’ experience within a cold calling B2B sales role.
- Must be based in the UK and have valid right to work in the UK.

How can I succeed in the role?

- Consistently meeting and exceeding weekly/monthly sales targets that have been put in place for your campaigns. Such as number of calls made, leads/appointments generated, or sales converted.

- Keeping your clients happy by being transparent and keeping them informed throughout their campaign.

- Take on board constructive feedback and action changes accordingly with a professional attitude.

- Work to a high standard, present good mannerism, and professionalism, especially when consulting with your clients.

- Take responsibility for your campaigns and communicate at your earliest convenience where improvements can be made to campaigns such as the data, pitch, call times etc.

- Support the team and add value to their expertise where applicable

Salary and Place of Work

£12.00 per hour

The role is a remote position so you will need to provide your own laptop, headset and have a fast stable internet connection.
