Job Details
Business Development Director – Analytics
Kantar, backed by Bain Capital, is the world’s leading data, insights and consulting company. People are our passion. We understand more about how people think, feel, shop, share, vote and view than anyone else.
We are seeking a Business Development Director who loves to win! This role will play a critical commercial role in a key growth priority area for us – Marketing Effectiveness and our unified marketing measurement and optimization (UMMO) solution. The successful candidate will bring proven commercial experience in winning new logos in this space and a track record of both selling and establishing key strategic relationships with prospects.
This role is part of our New Business team and will collaborate closely with our Analytics practice, a smart team of consultants powered by scalable best-in-class analytics tools to find meaningful signals in a world of fast-moving data.
Kantar Analytics is part of our Insights division, who are experts in human understanding. With expertise covering brand, innovation, creative, media, commerce and customer experience, we help clients define what brands should stand for, how to disrupt and renew their offer, how to connect with audiences and how to win with consumers and customers. This is a really fun role working with an incredible Business Development team. Everyone in the team loves winning whilst always putting the client first.
We partner with a range of inspirational clients with diverse and advanced needs such as Unilever, HSBC, GSK, John Lewis & Partners, and easyJet to help them drive growth from their marketing, helping impact their short-term sales today and to drive demand for tomorrow. We do this by building models that intelligently connect survey and non-survey datasets, which are then brought to life through a combination of presentations, workshops, practical data visualisation tools, and simulators. We are looking for someone to add to this incredible portfolio of clients, someone who loves winning new business, has a passion for sales, and enjoys bringing new tools and solutions to help our clients.
For context, Analytics UK delivers innovative solutions that provide deep insights and identify valuable opportunities to create effective, growth-focused solutions for our clients. We are supported by Delivery Centres (primarily in India) that help ensure a globally consistent best-in-class delivery platform and enable data treatment. We also draw on Kantar’s global network of Analytics professionals and bringing together our client service and analytics delivery teams to develop new and long-lasting client relationships is key to our success. Kantar has recently acquired Blackwood Seven in the ROI space, so this role also has the opportunity to help build out powerful new capabilities for unified marketing measurement and optimisation.
Responsibilities:
- Grow our UK ROI practice by leading the sales and marketing strategy, in conjunction with the Analytics practice, and Insights Marketing and Business Development teams.
- Collaborate with the other Analytics UK pillars to build joined up solutions for our clients, in particular leveraging our deep digital and data visualization expertise.
- Work with the Global Product teams to develop our ROI analytics portfolio and go to market strategy.
- Work closely with the Business Development team and Client Leads (across Analytics, Insights, and Consulting) to identify opportunities for cross-selling and MMM programmes to our clients.
- Build trusted relationships with key prospects to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and that we excite and delight our clients with actionable insights.
- Accountable for the New business revenue targets in this space.
