About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for three Business Development Coordinators to join the Enterprise, Employability and Engagement Innovation function within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
This post will primarily be oriented towards delivery of the Leadership for Growth programme, which is designed to engage and develop the capabilities of existing and aspiring leading within high-growth and scale-up potential SMEs, enabling them to improve business performance, productivity, and resilience. The Leadership for Growth programme offers professional leadership and management courses through Edge Hill’s Business School.

About You
As Business Development Coordinator, you will:
- Have experience of exceeding targets in a business development, sales, or other SME engagement environment.
- Possess a strong ability to communicate, present ideas, with the capacity to influence senior business decision makers.
- Have great organisational skills, with a stringent attention to detail and an ability to maintain accurate data.
You will have significant experience and a successful track record working in a new business development, client/external engagement, or commercial sales environment. Experience of working in enterprise or knowledge exchange in the university sector, with experience of UKRI, Innovate UK or ESIF projects, would be advantageous.
The role involves a significant amount of external industry engagement, so demonstrable skills in generating and coordinating sustainable new business demand pipelines is essential, alongside strong customer relationship management.
