Job description

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen within Access Development to become a pivotal member of the team.

You will be joining a positive and proactive group that is focused on support and inclusivity. The team was restructured in 2020 and has since focussed its attention on ensuring fair access for underrepresented and/or disadvantaged groups.

As the Administrator/Officer in the Access Development team, you will be responsible for supporting cross-team projects with a priority for supporting the running of Sheffield Hallam’s entry support scheme for students with additional barriers. You will have an opportunity to showcase your skills in organisation, administration, and excellent customer service. Students are at the heart of the work we do. We are looking for candidates to join the team that are supportive, innovative and who are adaptable.

Ideally you will bring a proactive attitude to your daily activities and positive energy to the whole team so that we can continue to meet and exceed students’ and their supporters’ expectations. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively to deliver a professional, inclusive, and responsive support scheme and wider support offer.
