Business Development Specialist
A multi-award winning digital marketing agency is searching for an enthusiastic Business Development Specialist to focus on their UK market. Since 2015, they have had a strong focus in the health and wellness sector and work with a large number of top pharma companies including Pfizer, GSK, Abbvie and the World Health Organisation to name a few. Due to continued business growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Specialist to develop their UK market.
This exciting, newly created role requires an outgoing and creative individual who is eager to develop new business opportunities and cultivate prospects into long-term clients. Having experience in generating sales, this role is ideal for someone who has experience in a sales-focussed environment. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as having good knowledge of the marketing industry and its trends.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the principles of business development, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. As this role is fully remote, the position will require the ability to work independently but also collaborate strongly with the team through digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a successful strategy to identify and target new business opportunities
- Understand client needs through research and assess ways in which the services can meet their needs
- Collaborate with sales/marketing departments on identifying target markets and partner with internal teams to develop new offerings and strategies to effectively engage clients
- Cultivate relationships with clients and partners through regular communication
- Acting as a liaison between technical team and clients for new projects
- Coordination, Facilitation and expedition of the projects
- Up-selling, presenting new ideas and reporting to clients
- Following up technical and financial processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in business development or sales (health and wellness field would be a strong advantage)
- Demonstrated success in consultative sales/business development
- Good connections in pharma marketing would be highly desirable
- Must have a hunger for generating new business and an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of digital marketing
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Ability to build & manage client relationships at all levels
