Successful candidates will join an existing and growing team as part of a new strategic alliance between Treliant and FD/KX. The team will work on projects with clients, installing and building real-time data analytics solutions around KX Insights, to deliver more timely insights for capital markets businesses. Key areas of focus will include eTrading, Order management, Trade Surveillance and Financial Crime Prevention.
Working with global clients ingesting large volumes of high frequency time series data- Working with business users to define application requirements and deliver new functionality
- Involvement in all aspects of SDLC – planning, creating, testing, and deploying software solutions
- Analyzing data and delivering concise insights to business users
- Working as part of a team to deliver solutions
- Assisting in training of junior developers
- Taking ownership of critical activities
- Developing a detailed understanding of how trading operations work within large scale financial organisations
- Become an integral part of a growing and ambitious team
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
Strong educational background - A 2.1 degree in a Finance, Computer Science or STEM subject- 2+ Years using KBD+ to develop software
- Experience with Unix environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated client experience and track record developing software solutions
- Good knowledge and experience with SDLC, including design, architecture, developing code, testing, and deployment
- Experience with tick architecture, large scale data capture and data analysis
- Ability to write clean and efficient code
Experience in other languages like Java, C++ or Python- Experience with cloud environments and deployments
- Experience with capital markets or investment banking
- Experience with geographically distributed teams
