Job description
ACCOUNTS:
- Bookkeeping
- A complete ownership of sales on Sage
- A complete ownership of all customers on sage
- Keeping a record of the outstanding commissions and payments
- Keeping a record of interest payments made to clients.
- Creating schedules for payments to clients
- Creating completion statements for the clients.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing quarterly NRL returns
- Keeping records of all the finance units and do the calculations for finance units
- Assistance with annual accounts
- Check daily and monthly income
- Prepare list of payments for approval and payment.
- Reconciling invoices, receipts and payments. Investigate possible discrepancies.
- Ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate.
- Creating, updating and analysing expenses
- Scan and file accounting documents.
- Assist with the payroll at the end of each period.
- Maintaining and updating a commission control sheet and recording all the commissions paid to the agents.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Sage 50 will be essential for the job.
- Understanding of double entry principles.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Being organised, methodical and a quick learner person.
- Must have accurate and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
- £24,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year (based on experience).

- 8 hour shift

- Bachelor's (preferred)

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
