As the Business Development Researcher your responsibilities are…
· Develop knowledge of the construction and real estate sectors and associated legal markets.
· Identify qualified, “Elephant” avatar Prospects against our standard criteria.
· Identify Key Contacts at each Prospect via Sales Navigator and connect with them on LinkedIn.
· Add to the Prospect to Pipedrive and update notes.
· Follow the Prospect (company) on LinkedIn.
· Engage with Key Contacts on LinkedIn by commenting on posts, by text and telephone.
· Liaise with Managing Director as to appropriate information to send to Key Contact.
· Send the Key Contact useful information using Smart Links and add Key Contact details to the Newsletter CRM.
· Move each Prospect down the Outbound Buying Process funnel.
· Book meetings, meeting rooms, restaurants and other events for Head of Department and/or Managing Director to meet with Key Contacts.
· Update, improve and maintain the firm’s CRM.
· Maintain and update Sales dashboard and sales forecasting.
· Speak to, research and qualify Inbound Leads.
· Update Pipedrive with Inbound Lead details and liaise with Heads of Department to allocate to fee earners.
· General office duties.
As the Business Development Researcher, you’ll need to have the following skills and experience…
· Ability to work effectively independently or as part as a team.
· Construction/real estate sector experience or in a professional services environment.
· Worked in business development for a minimum of 3 years.
· Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills to establish, engage and maintain relationships with Prospects and Leads.
· Able to consider Prospects against avatar criteria and qualify a Prospect without the need for support from others.
· Organised, methodical approach to identifying Prospects and gathering information on them.
· Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
· Familiarity with LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and relevant software, tools, and CRM systems to manage and track business development activities efficiently.
· Strong IT skills, particularly in regards to CRMs, Zoom/Teams and Microsoft Office.
· A positive, “can do” attitude, reliable and consistent. Keen to “pitch-in” where needed.

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
