Job description
We are looking for a self-driven (no pun intended!) responsible Data Engineer who has a demonstrated success record in data management and reporting. The ideal candidate comes from an automotive sales/parts/service environment and understands the importance of customer lifecycle management. This role is based at our onsite location in Richmond Hill and is a Monday – Friday office role. Previous experience presenting accurate, thorough, and easy-to-understand data to customers would be an asset.
In this role, you will combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats for customers and key stakeholders. You will also develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modelling.

Role Responsibilities
- Raw data cleaning and manipulation
- Collecting and standardizing raw data from various sources.
- Transaction performance management
- Production Data Accuracy Control
- Creating reports and analyses based on data sets.
- Creating and executing automation scripts
- Developing stored procedures
- Generating reports
- Monitoring Automation LOGs
- Performing SQL Server monthly maintenance routines

Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of SQL / Python / MSSQLSERVER Operation.
- Working Knowledge of HTML
- In-depth understanding of multiple data formats including SQL, JSON, XML
- In-depth knowledge of data pipeline, job scheduling
- Using Python and libraries to handle unstructured Data transformation.
