Team Overview

The Post Trade team is responsible for all aspects of Product Development across our extensive suite of Post Trade Solutions as well as developing and maintaining relationships across our client base and the Securities Finance Industry.

Reporting to the Global Head of Post Trade Solutions, the Post Trade Product Development and Post Trade Client Engagement leads work closely together to understand client and industry needs and translate them into best-in-class technology solutions.

We are looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager into the Post Trade Product Development team, based in New York or London. This individual will work closely with the Post Trade Product Development lead and fellow analysts as well as the Post Trade Client Engagement team to execute projects from inception through production release.

This individual will be hands on and involved in all phases of a project, from detailed analysis and requirements gathering, including usability aspects, to functional design, testing, and implementation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Gather and prioritize business requirements with the Global Head of Post Trade and Client Engagement Lead
  • Manage project tasks, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
  • Lead client meetings and internal discussions for defining and prioritizing requirements
  • Analyze client needs, data, and recommend data-driven solutions
  • Develop prototypes and user stories for client discussions and usability testing
  • Identify system changes and impacts based on client requirements
  • Create workflows, flowcharts, and documentation for developers
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams
  • Plan and execute User Acceptance Tests with clients
  • Create client-facing technical documentation
  • Assist with production implementation and support
  • Gain deep technical understanding of EquiLend's Post Trade solutions

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable experience of project management
  • Significant experience of User Experience design for web applications
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and related artifacts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Experienced in client and team facilitation
  • Knowledge of securities finance or capital markets is a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL, XML, UNIX highly desirable
