Job Title : Data Scientist / Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our KYC Operations Transformation - Design and Analytics team, with a proven track record of gaining insights from reviewing company data. You will be experienced in using large data sets to find opportunities for process improvement and process optimisation and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
You will have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data methods, using a variety of data tools, building, and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. You will have proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. You will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and collaborating with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities
Data and Process mining to assess data from company databases / Celonis to drive process analysis for root cause, improvement and optimisation
Review large data sets, creating algorithms that manage and organise information and writing applications that translate data and identify patterns
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. And effectiveness of technology changes
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes
Collab and coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
Your Skills and Experience:
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on process analysis and improvement
Experience using statistical computer languages SQL (expert level), Python etc to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Celonis analytical skills for process mining is desirable. Experience working with and creating data architectures
Lean Six Sigma black belt, experienced in working in a regulated transactional environment
Understanding of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
Understanding of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experienced with applications of these techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
