Allwyn UK is part of Allwyn Entertainment Group – a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy. Role Purpose:
To support the business in the delivery of the Business Requirement Documents and Scope of Work for cross functional projects that underpin the transition programme. To ensure information is regularly reviewed and updated, approvals sought and appropriate reporting provided to the programme board and functional areas.
Role Responsibilities:
- Cooperates on the BRD delivery in required deadlines and quality
- Follows the defined processes for BRD writing and approval using common tools (JIRA, confluence, draw.io)
- As part of the BRD delivery:
- Supports business owners of BRD on defining the business overview, business needs and scope
- Defines the impacted business areas (UX, Product, CRM, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology, etc.)
- Cooperates with stakeholders, SMEs and BAs from impacted business areas and collects the business requirements in a logical way easily convertible into epics and user-stories
- Defines the user requirements (use-cases/user-stories)
- Maps the process flows
- Distributes the BRD to the relevant stakeholders for an approval
- Closely cooperates with the enterprise and solution architects on the technical solution design of assigned BRD (impacted components in the Allwyn infrastructure, required integrations)
- Writes down the functional specification for internal or external vendors (integrations, functional/non-functional requirements) based on the business and user requirements closely cooperating with technology architects and other BAs
- Reviews the system specifications provided by vendors and supports on its commenting and approval. Makes sure that provided technical documentation describes the implementation of all required functionalities as defined in BRD.
- Communicates and coordinates the activities with vendors (internal and external)
- Builds the Allwyn UK knowledgebase
- Supports business teams on SOW/SOP/POAP/PID writing (process analysis, diagrams)
- Tracks work done in JIRA
- The application process for the following standards
- ISO /IEC 270001,
- PCI-DSS
- World Lottery Security Standard WLA-SCS
- Definition and implementation of processes and controls related to the above.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years experience of working as a Business Analyst, or similar role
- Direct experience of working within the lottery and gaming industry or the specific functional/ project area required
- Experience of working with the PM toolkit, or similar
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work cross functionally and identify interdependencies
