We are based in the City of London, close to Liverpool Street Station

Role Summary

To produce management information and statistical data to internal and external stakeholders through the identification of trends and patterns in complex data sets

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce and quality assure management information and statistical data in response to internal and external requirements
• Support the delivery of Key Performance Indicators and service level agreements
• Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Working cross-departmentally on KPI monitoring
• Using coding language (SQL/Dax) to gather, store, manipulate and retrieve information from the various primary and secondary data sources
• Cleaning and maintaining data to ensure its ready for analysis
• Examining and interpreting data to identify patterns/trends to discover unseen business insights
• Work with management to prioritise business and information needs

Candidate Specification

• Experience in building models for MS Power BI (or similar visualization tools) and creating meaningful stories with visualisations
• Confidence in design data models that blend data from various sources
• Understanding of the principles and use of coding languages: we currently use SQL and DAX
• Relevant experience in managing self and working with teams to derive actionable insight from concept to delivery, through data analysis, reporting and visualization
• The ability to train and support business colleagues with data literacy, and the skills to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing
• Excellent attention to detail and the user experience of data products
• Experience in applying critical thinking for problem framing and some experience of business process mapping

This role is full time and works within a Hybrid office environment
