Position Overview
The Business Analyst role will be given ownership of products or parts of products leading through requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and live maintenance
Qualifications and Training
Experience as a Business Analyst / Agile BA within an Agile / Scrum environment is essential
A degree in Business Analysis Practice or a related discipline is desirable. A strong background in troubleshooting and technology support will be beneficial
Have knowledge, understanding and experience of DevOps software delivery methodologies and the application of them using tools like JIRA, Confluence

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role you will need:
Consult with the business and Product Managers and/or digital managers to prioritise and shape the product backlog, using Agile practices for prioritisation around business value
Build strong relationships with key strategic business partners, ensuring an understanding of their business; work collaboratively on their development pipeline
Lead the facilitation of Project Initiation / Inception workshops, where necessary
Developing quality user stories or other types of agile requirements, through a variety of agile techniques
Assisting with the development of acceptance criteria
Facilitate key agile ceremonies (sprint demo/showcase, sprint retrospective, sprint/iteration planning, backlog grooming)
Manage a variety of relationships including business stakeholders, Product Manager, digital managers, Scrum Master and other broader team members
Responsible for his/her own work planning against objectives set in agreement with their leader
Work closely with other groups like product, quality assurance, and project management resources throughout planning and delivery of solutions
Monitor upcoming new development activity for potential impact to overall environment
Assist with definition of scope and objectives as well as testing and implementation
Providing estimates and refining it as part of an agile project
Participate in architectural sessions and provide solutions to complex problems
Work with the developers to design and document custom solutions
Implementing core design components with software development best practices
Daily lead of scrum and or agile comms with developers/testers for continued workstreams
