Job description
- Create captivating visual designs for promotional video, advertisements, and online content, while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the copy, marketing, and editorial teams to understand content requirements and translate them into visually appealing designs that effectively convey the intended message.
- Develop and execute innovative design concepts, layouts, and illustrations that align with the publication's objectives and target audience.
- Utilize industry-standard design software and tools to create high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in typography, color schemes, and overall design elements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design skills and incorporate fresh ideas into projects.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth project workflow, meet deadlines, and deliver designs within specified timeframes.
- Assist in the selection of relevant stock images and graphics, ensuring proper licensing and permissions are obtained.
- Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering valuable insights to enhance the overall design process and elevate the company's visual presence.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within a publishing or media-related industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including print and digital media.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate creativity into designs and projects.
- Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with web design and digital media platforms is a plus.
