Overview:

The Graphic Designer at Alta is responsible for producing visually captivating and compelling designs that effectively communicate our brand identity across various mediums. Your designs will play a crucial role in the success of our video, advertisement, and online content. You will report to Lead Graphic Designer and work closely with the marketing, copy, and editorial teams. The mission is to enhancing our publications, both in print and digital formats, and engage our target audience.

Responsibilities:

Create captivating visual designs for promotional video, advertisements, and online content, while adhering to brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the copy, marketing, and editorial teams to understand content requirements and translate them into visually appealing designs that effectively convey the intended message.
Develop and execute innovative design concepts, layouts, and illustrations that align with the publication's objectives and target audience.
Utilize industry-standard design software and tools to create high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts.
Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in typography, color schemes, and overall design elements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design skills and incorporate fresh ideas into projects.
Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth project workflow, meet deadlines, and deliver designs within specified timeframes.
Assist in the selection of relevant stock images and graphics, ensuring proper licensing and permissions are obtained.
Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering valuable insights to enhance the overall design process and elevate the company's visual presence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within a publishing or media-related industry.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including print and digital media.
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate creativity into designs and projects.
Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with web design and digital media platforms is a plus.
