Your New Role...


The Business Analyst position will be responsible for supporting Scheduling Systems across the EMEA region in WBD, including, but not exclusive to WBD Sports. The Business Analyst will maintain the relationship between IT and the business community creating and prioritizing requests, performing feasibility assessments, and managing key IT products to support the business.


Your Role Accountabilities...


  • Work with business users to gather process, functional, and data requirements
  • Develop detailed requirements documentation including business process models, business requirements, use cases, wire frames and systems requirements
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of business processes within assigned areas
  • Perform database queries and analyse large data sets in support of requirements development
  • Develop and validate requirements for data conversion and migration
  • Assist Product Managers in prioritizing issues/enhancements
  • Assist Product Managers in developing assessments with high level requirements and levels of effort
  • Participate in the technical design process to ensure that business requirements are being satisfied
  • Engage in peer reviews to ensure completeness and sufficient detail of business and system requirements
  • Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing including duties such as test case creation, environment and user ID set-up, data set-up, tracking and resolution of issues
  • Execution of all SDLC milestone/sign-offs and SOX evidence
  • Assist in implementation shakeout and post-implementation support
  • Facilitate updates to application support plans for production support teams
  • Review application support documentation – design, test scripts, training and online help
  • Perform administrative duties as required including completing timesheets, submitting expense reports and providing regular status reports
  • Collaborate with team members globally to analyse, design, build, or support a solution
  • Provide Production Support of applications and align with global production support teams on incidents, workarounds and next steps
  • Provide feedback for process improvements to help improve self-effectiveness and team efficiency

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Technology and/or software systems
  • Minimum 3 years of business and/or systems analysis experience, with experience authoring requirements and analysis documentation
  • Have experience in a role involving the relationship and communication required between IT and business units to ensure that IT can understand and effectively satisfy business requirements
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to successfully operate within, and actively contribute to, a high growth, entrepreneurial, fast paced business and globally matrixed environment
  • Experience with database driven applications, metadata, system interfaces and data conversion
  • Ability to develop and execute SQL queries to produce ad hoc reports, analyse business data, and perform system testing duties
