What will you do? Business Analyst
Responsible for examining business problems / opportunities, clarifying requirements across multiple stakeholders, and assuring technical solution design meets customer needs. This role drives objective decision making based on data analysis, leveraging industry insight and organisational knowledge to support businesses in exploring their strategic & tactical options.
Some accountabilities of the role:
Responsible for eliciting and understanding business requirements for customer-facing / operational change (considering both functional and non-functional aspects) and managing these requirements to support effective solution design.- Effectively challenges & clarifies requirements to maximise customer benefit and value delivered to business units, using previous experience to recommend relevant metrics & market insight to inform decision making of business stakeholders.
- Coordinates activities of multiple capabilities to ensure technical solution design satisfies business requirements, whilst complying with organisational governance process.
- Represent the voice of our customer in technical & development teams, providing business & market context behind change requirements, fostering close working relationships between technical teams and business units, providing analytical assets as appropriate to support development methodology.
- Leverages own external network, within the analyst industry and beyond, to bring new ideas and case studies into organisation. Uses their influence and leadership to challenge status-quo, driving a culture of continuous improvement and championing growth mindsets and innovation.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders that support collaborative ways of working, encourage positive interaction between all parties (IT, Business, 3rd Parties) and positively represent the BA profession and Group Digital department
- Active member of the BA Community within TP, advocating the social learning principles, openly sharing knowledge with peers and contributing to the ongoing development of analysis capability within the organisation.
