The Digital Identity Service

We are recruiting for three positions – Customer Onboarding; Verify your Identity and Attribute store development.
As Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role across all aspects of the Programme. You will working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a complex digital programme, driving forward progress at pace and to agreed timescales, managing competing priorities and building a culture of continuous delivery and improvement, ensuring that key processes are regularly analysed, maintained and improved.
Please note this role is a full time Fixed Term Appointment for a period of 23 months.
Create and develop business analysis products in accordance with programme requirements.
Apply a range of techniques to analyse the current and future states of customers’ organisational structures, processes, systems used to deliver the Digital Identity programme using a variety of tools to document and present findings.
Develop, refine and agree user stories in accordance with requirements, prioritisation and standard processes used by the programme.
Carry out data analysis in potential customers to facilitate delivery of the programme and future development of an attribute store product.
Undertake mapping business process flows to business rules.
Organise, lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders and users.
Support the identification of options to deliver enhanced outcomes for end-users and service customers.
Explain, and be a persuasive advocate for, the value of user needs within the wider Scottish Government.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in technical and business environments.

Essential Criteria
1. Strong experience of business analysis in a business, policy or digital project environment, particularly in relation to process mapping and business requirements gathering.
2. Excellent relationship management skills working with key stakeholders in technical and business environments.
3. Experience of working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and ability to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team.
4. A proven track record of interpreting customer business needs to recognised industry standards, documenting workflows and results of business analysis and translating these into application and operational requirements through strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

Remote Working
We operate a flexible location policy, with a named base in Scotland of Victoria Quay, Edinburgh.
Currently the team is working on a remote basis typically spending two days in the office each quarter at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh. Should you wish to spend more time in the office we will be very happy to support this.
Staff are assigned to the base office, however there may be a need for travel to other Scottish Government offices/other locations depending on assigned work.

Salary between £41,642 and £49,860.- £5000 Digital (DDaT) Pay Supplement after a 3-month qualifying period ***

*** Digital (DDaT) Pay Supplement
This post attracts a £5000 DDAT pay supplement after a 3 months DDaT competency qualifying period. Pay supplements are temporary payments and are subject to regular review.
