Overview
Compass Associates is currently working with a Children’s Services provider, specialising in therapy-led care and education. Together, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to be a part of their Commercial team in developing growth and maintaining the current contracts for the organisation.
This position is responsible for their patch of children’s residential services and will be essential in ensuring their excellent track record of service delivery is recognised and lauded by authorities and commissioners.
As an experienced Business Development professional within the Children’s Care sector, you will be expected to both fill vacant positions/develop relationships with commissioners. We are also happy to consider any Children’s Registered Managers wishing to depart from the management of homes and expand their experience within Business Development.
You will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and work closely with the Registered Managers for those in your area.
Location
The is remote and home based, with occasional travel required to services and meetings when required
Requirements
- An experienced Business Development Manager within the Children’s Care sector
- Or a Children’s Registered Manager who has been doing the referral process themselves and has close ties with their local authority
- Excellent communication skills both written and orally, superb time management skills
- Logical and organised approach to working with excellent critical thinking.
- You must have an in depth understanding of how the Children’s Care and Specialist Education market this is a must
Salary is a package of £50,000 per annum + benefits such as 25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays, sick pay, GP Access 24//7 and more
