Business Analyst - Inside IR35
Contract Term: 3 Months + possible extension.
Contracting Authority: Cabinet Office
Location: Hybrid – Remote & 1 day p/week in London as required.

As a Business Analystyour main responsibilities would be:
- Understanding & analysing user and business needs, ensuring outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy.
- Understanding internal & external stakeholder engagements, equities & anxieties.
- Ensuring data / requirements are gathered to put forward in a strategic business case / proposal.
- Identifying & validating key business requirements – defining the business problem & primary objectives of new projects.
- Undertaking analysis of landscape of analysis & gap – analysis market / internal government / broad market options.
- Creating functional requirements in use cases.
- Providing weekly reports – what has been done / what we are going to do.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Active, valid SC / CTC Clearance is essential for this role.
- Demonstrable Business Analysis experience – requirements gathering / reporting / use cases.
- Expert stakeholder management skills – engagement & communication.
- Ability to plan & run interviews and focus group to deliver tangible qualitative output.
- Product management – desirable.
- An understanding of government finance, procurement, commercial & IT governance processes – desirable.
- An understanding of project management – desirable.

Any rates of payment quoted will reflect the gross rate per day for the assignment and will be subject to appropriate taxes and statutory costs. As such the payment to the intermediary and your income resulting from this contract will be different.
