We are looking for a Finance Business Analyst, who will be responsible for the creation and distribution of business reports to key internal and external stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
As Finance Business Analyst, you will report to the Business Partner Financial Planning & Analysis who is based in the UK. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Producing actionable intelligence by spotting trends and problems from the existing data, and working with the wider teams to capture new datapoints which will allow further analysis
- Developing robust validation and quality checking processes to ensure data errors are removed at the source
- Working with the stakeholders to define and develop data driven KPIs and provide client specific trend reporting
- Creating dashboards that the business can use to present to clients
- Working within a matrix organization to ensure proposed reporting solutions meet expectation and fit within the principles of the business intelligences best practices
The candidate we are looking for:
- Strong Excel, with mastery on lookups, index/matches and other conditional based formulas
- Comfortable working with raw data sets as part of data discovery
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
- Experience within Snowflake, or another SQL database (desirable)
- Business Analyst/Process design experience (desirable)
- Financial knowledge, knowledge and understandings of P&L accounts (desirable)
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a customer focus
- Confident and effective communicator, both written and oral, which will be able to convey the message from the data to non-data stakeholders
- Efficient problem solver that works effectively as part of a team, as well as on their own
