- Significant experience of successful development and maintenance of policies, procedures and day to day working practices in a reporting and analytics environment
- Experience of leading and managing teams
- Experience of NHS information systems sufficient to have gained an in depth knowledge of the way data is held on Trust’s Patient Administration Systems (PAS) (including the use of PAS query languages)
- Experience of conducting detailed analysis of complex data sets or processes to identify root causes and solutions to problems.
- Experience of developing and managing implementation of cross organisation support and improvement plans
- Experience of analysing complex data and intelligence and coordinating the work of team members to do so; and then to work with and influence senior managers to diagnose & resolve these issues and provide decision support to a range of stakeholders
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrable experience of developing strategies, implementation plans and identification of resource requirements.
- Thorough understanding and experience of managing confidentiality, data protection requirements and the frameworks set out in the NHS Information Governance Toolkit

- The Trust uses electronic new starter forms on Trac to collect personal details. Information collected is securely stored and used to set up the employee record on the ESR HR system.
