Social Media Specialist
Hop PR Ltd is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our team in Bramhall and lead our new social media and influencer department.
Are you passionate and happy to spend your day immersed in social? Experienced in developing, leading and creating social media and influencer strategies, as well as generating posts and assets? Then this role is for you.
Hop is looking for an experienced and passionate social media and influencer specialist to join its award-winning team, working across a range of our B2C and B2B clients.
This role will bolster our ever-growing creative team of PR, content and digital experts. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and join the Hop team in an exciting time of growth, with us winning a whole host of new clients.

What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of two years’ experience developing and implementing results-driven social media and influencer strategies and campaigns, both organic and paid-for.
- Ideally a minimum of two years’ agency experience.
- Possess well developed analytical ability to extract insight from data and plan next strategy across multiple social channels.
- Have a strong knowledge of how to market and communicate to specific audiences across all mainstream social media channels.
- Ideally good experience implementing and driving ROI for both B2C and B2B brands / channels.
- Know-how when it comes to creating assets to go alongside compelling copy to drive engagement.
- Liaise confidently with the senior team to inform clients of all social activity and attend regular client meetings via digital and face to face.
- Ability to conduct regular competitor research and incorporate any learnings into social strategies.
- Creativity is a must, both Hop and our client base like to push boundaries and deliver campaigns with a difference.
- Experience with using tools to - gather insights that will form a strategy and report on meaningful brand metrics an insights for example, using social listening to track brand health, understand consumer sentiment, improve customer experience and drive strategic decisions.
- A good understanding of Google Analytics and specific social channel metrics: Robust understanding of social media channels and how they work including: algorithms, types of spend, audience behaviours and integration opportunities.
- Facebook blueprint & GA certification a plus but not mandatory based on experience.
- Be comfortable and confident in making recommendations for and managing paid-for social media budgets.
- Beneficial to have experience of developing and executing influencer strategies on behalf of brands.
- Identify and verify the quality of influencers within the client’s niche that meet the objectives of the influencer brief.
- Confidently establish a line of communication and a strong relationship with each influencer.
- Have a strong understanding of the value each influencer holds and confidently negotiate fees.
- Distribute and organise influencer agreements.
- Create and distribute influencer briefs in line with the client’s objectives.
- Organise influencer content into a content calendar and provide any content needed by the social team to the relevant stakeholders for scheduling.
- Reporting on the important metrics of any activities.
- Strong attention to detail, proofreading, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Experience in working across clients in various sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, digital marketing, social media or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in marketing communications required.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others on projects including projects within the company or outside of company (e.g., project coordination).
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and attention to detail (ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously)
