The Club
The Oxford and Cambridge Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiard room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.
The Role
We are recruiting for a Weekend Security Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. The role is a part time position with a mixture of shifts working 16 hours per week. Occasional public holiday working may be required.
The Person
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Very well organised and vigilant at all times
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communications skills with good spoken and written English
- Excellent attention to detail
Main Duties
- Keep a constant check on the back door, never leaving the area unattended
- Security of the Clubs staff and goods delivery entrance, ensuring visitors, staff and contractors follow sign in procedures
- Check in agency staff
- Cleaning the area and looking after the presentation of the back of house
- Monitoring of the CCTV system
- Security check of the building
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to
