What We Are Looking For:

We're currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Technology Project team. As our Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

This will be accomplished by playing a leading role in software and process implementations and will include collecting and analyzing requirements, helping to develop process or using automation to improve existing processes, and building documentation to help support projects. The role will also include providing project status updates to senior leadership, maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders, and some project management and change management as required.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Support technology-based projects through requirement gathering, process documentation, user support, and change management.
  • Provide project management on smaller projects by building and managing timelines, communicating with project teams and stakeholders, and coordinating work.
  • Develop functional specifications and work closely with IT and stakeholders to build solutions that meet business needs.
  • Work closely with vendors to manage system environments, manage security, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Coordinate testing on projects and upgrades.
  • Create and maintain user guides, manuals, or other related material.
  • Leverage data analysis and advanced analytics to identify new opportunities and trends, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions.
  • Brainstorm with team members to resolve more complex issues and escalate difficult issues to management.
  • Assess existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose effective solutions.
  • Leverage your expertise with the BABoK to optimize and streamline operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users, to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of data, generate meaningful insights, and present findings to relevant stakeholders to inform decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the design and documentation of business processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of processes created and other related tools.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field or minimum 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Yardi (Voyager and/or Breeze) Software, including expertise in modules such as residential property management, payscan, and maintenance would be an asset.
  • Solid understanding of business process analysis, project management methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications in business analysis, project management, or change management will be considered a plus.
