What is the Role?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Decisioning Optimisation team within CVM as business analyst! The team is focussed on improving the accuracy of decisions across all channels and contact points with customers, through continuous improvement of our centralised decisioning systems to meet CRG strategy and objectives.
What would I focus on as a Business Analyst?
You’ll strive to deliver the highest quality business analysis outputs and artefacts whilst supporting your team through delivery. Examples of which include:
- Facilitating requirements sessions with collaborators and technical resource in the team to produce detailed scope and requirements to allow the team to accurately develop technical solutions required to meet objectives.

What we need from you?

- Able to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. For example, asks questions to encourage others to think differently and enrich their analyses of complex situations. Accurately defines the key elements of complex, ambiguous situations.
- Working without supervision, focusing on the interactions between different parts of the business, to deliver required outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple partners.
- Collaboration skills enabling you to successfully work toward a common goal with others, including communicating clearly, actively listening to others, and respecting the diversity of colleagues.
- An understanding of full project/change lifecycle, including experience working with Agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) would be advantageous.
Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
- Support the team with analysis from gathering scope and requirements at inception through design, build and test, and into delivery.
- Support the Product Owner to understand business problems, critically evaluating of business ideas from a customer and a commercial point of view.
- Development and documenting 'as is' and 'to be' process models and Colleague, Customer Journeys
- Own analysis and investigations required and progress them independently, and where required, through leading and supporting others.
