Job Description

The Creative Play Lab (CPL) invents the future of play and delivers the future of play as proven businesses ready to scale. To do so, it is essential that within the CPL we identify opportunities that are desirable and viable to the business by understanding audience needs, formulate propositions to meet those needs, ensure the propositions are communicable, and solve go-to-market challenges. No proven path exists; through astute observation and evidence gathering, experimentation and rapid iteration, we build proven business cases that support global rollout of our new products.

The Commercial Center of Excellence team within CPL strives to elevate the commercial capability of the organization through driving innovation and rigour around how we measure, capture and track value of our initiatives, helping set the commercial strategy for our innovations, and advocating for radical innovation in business modelling

  • Set commercial strategy and track value of innovation

  • Holistic and In-Depth analysis of Data: using multiple data sets to extract evidence to support strategic conversations and decision making

  • Bridging external business environment and internal business needs to help identify key opportunities for growth for TLG

  • Insight Mining: extracting the pertinent facts and shaping insights from multiple data sources to guide agile decision making

  • Storytelling: building and presenting a compelling narrative to enable strategic business decision-making

Your superpowers will likely include:

  • Statistical knowledge

  • Commercial acumen: Solid understanding of levers that impact a business’s growth including audience reach, revenue and profit. Knowledge in financial modelling

  • Data visualization expertise

  • Problem solving; curious puzzle solver

  • Being a Self-starter; being comfortable in starting from scratch and without briefs

  • An experimentation (test + learn) mindset

  • Playfulness; BFF with your inner child

What’s in it for you?

Here are some of what to expect:

  • Family Care Leave – We offer enhanced paid leave options for those important times.

  • Insurances – All colleagues are covered by our life and disability insurance which provides protection and peace of mind.

  • Your workplace – When you join the team you'll be assigned a primary workplace location i.e. one of our Offices, stores or factories. The hiring team will discuss the principles of our hybrid work model 'Best of Both', role eligibility and frequency with you during the recruitment process.

Children are our role models. Their curiosity, creativity and imagination inspire everything we do. We strive to create a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture of play at the LEGO Group, where everyone feels safe, valued and they belong.

The LEGO Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity and equal pay regardless of e.g. race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability or gender identity.
