Are you looking to make a difference with an exciting and expanding charity by delivering excellent customer service? Do you want to make an impact on one of our exciting charity stores?

Our Charity Shop in Rayleigh is looking for a Sales Assistant to assist and support in all aspects of day to day operations.

Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity. We care for around 14,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through our network of 22 rehoming centres across the UK and Ireland. We never destroy a healthy dog.

With approximately 35 retail stores already across the UK and new stores opening almost weekly, Dogs Trust is the most rapidly growing charity retailer in the UK. With a broad range of donated and bought in products, we are looking for people who have the customer and the charity at the heart of everything they do.

In this role you will deliver great customer service at all times; resolving complaints and work closely with our amazing volunteers. You will also maintain high levels of shop presentation, merchandising and be involved in pricing and managing stock while also helping to complete relevant administrative tasks.

If you have strong interpersonal and communications skills, and interest in fashion, retail and visual merchandising and you want to work as a part of the team, we would love to hear from you!

Please note that we will be reviewing applications and interviewing appropriate candidates when they are received, so please do not delay in submitting your application. For this reason, we reserve the right to close this advert early if the vacancies are filled before the closing date.

To apply for this position please click the APPLY NOW button. Our application process requires you submit a CV and a cover letter explaining your interest and suitability for the role.

At Dogs Trust we value diversity and we're committed to creating an inclusive culture. We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, abilities and cultures and believe that a diverse workforce will help us to achieve our mission. Should you need any adjustments to the recruitment process, either at application or interview stage, please contact us here.
