Are you an experienced Business Analyst?
We have a brand new permanent opportunity for a Business Analyst who will work both independently and alongside other Business Analysts and project managers to undertake detailed requirements analysis, document processes, contribute to business cases and perform user acceptance testing. You will write detailed requirement specifications and contribute to the production of solution documentation while supporting the delivery of solutions ensuring the requirements are met through build, test, and implementation. The business analyst will work on both BAU change and transformation.
What you'll be doing- The definition and agreement of requirements for all parties impacted by an approved change, including the traceability of these requirements through build, test, implementation, and benefits realisation to evidence and ensure delivery meets the specified acceptance criteria for the change.
- Complete business analysis tasks, adhering to LGSS and L&G standards, ensuring there is consistent high-quality output to support data-led decision making
- Co-ordination and management of the analysis activity for any assigned change, this may include, but not be limited to, facilitation and coordination of requirements workshops, solution discussions, conversations and decision making with stakeholders.
- Provide expertise from the perspective of the role. Ensuring risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies are raised and communicated through to the project, programme, or Sponsor as appropriate to ensure that the Sponsor can make data-led decisions.
- Working with the technical delivery partners (LGSS and 3rd party) to both inform the initiation and analysis phase as well as ensuring the high-quality delivery of designs and solutions that meet the acceptance criteria of the signed off requirements.
- Supporting the impacted business area in their co-ordination of User Acceptance Testing, to ensure that requirements and business processes are thoroughly tested and signed off ahead of implementation.
- Supporting and contributing to the continuous improvement of the LGSS Change function to ensure best practise. Including but not limited to; Change portfolio and programme planning; definition of roles and responsibilities of stakeholders, development of estimates for analysis activity, planning of own interaction with stakeholders, the approach for requirements development, traceability, and prioritisation. Contributing to training and support of more junior colleagues and new starters in the change team
- Demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Experience of agile and waterfall delivery.
- Proven track record of delivery of good quality analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of best practice.
- Stakeholder management experience to Managing director Level
- Experience in IT Change
