This role is responsible for Business Analysis activities with a focus on eliciting, validating, and documenting business information and needs, and participating in the development lifecycle to help deliver high value solutions to meet the needs of the business

We'll trust you to:

  • Participate in client-facing requirements elicitation sessions with business units and end-users; elicit and document end-user requirements for data capture, program functions, data quality, reports and analysis, and training
  • Act as functional expert on internal systems including intimately understanding the functionality in the system, how to translate business requirements into system changes, and the impact of changes to previously implemented releases
  • Facilitate or lead client-facing workshops and training sessions
  • Translate business requirements into functional / technical specifications and system design
  • Recommend and document solutions
  • Map existing system flows
  • Develop Use Cases and User Stories
  • Identify, document, and evaluate user feedback and system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to devise and design business approaches
  • Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
  • Document test plans and assist with User Acceptance Testing

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, business, technology, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Owner, and/or hybrid PM/BA
  • Experience working on-site in face-to-face meetings with clients eliciting requirements and providing expert advice and insights
  • Strong verbal and written communicator, able to speak with the business experts confidently and produce comprehensive documentation
  • Well organized and consistently delivers on commitments; able to work under tight timeframes and multi-task effectively
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to clients
  • Strong analytical skills combined with project management experience
  • Strong leadership skills to bring different people or groups together to solve client challenges
  • Must demonstrate accountability and responsibility
  • Strong software skills, including Word, Excel, Jira, Confluence, MS Project and PowerPoint
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple disciplines or organizations and be adept at building consensus across organizational and functional lines
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and Project Life Cycles
  • Experience supporting Applications/System in financial services and/or banking as a Business Analyst

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $150,000 - $180,000. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Corporate’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
