- Provide ongoing reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly) using advanced spreadsheets for data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings, provide actionable insights to stakeholders and monitor and track key performance indicators.
- Be responsible for mining data; and compiling, manipulate, analyzing, and reporting critical information related to aid the organization’s financial growth.
- Prepare financial reports that serve as summary information for managers.
- Assist with pulling metrics data and presenting information to stakeholders for concise explanations of the best placement for needed resources.
- Utilize business intelligence software and data visualization tools to effectively communicate business insights and projections.
- Synthesize complex analytics-derived insights into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations
- Participate in requirements meetings to understand business needs.
- Identify, analyze and interprete relevant trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Make forward-thinking forecasts based on these trends. Research is typically a key component of the reports that the data analyst will be responsible for.
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Stakeholders, such as locating and defining new process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Certification in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Business and/or Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, Dashboard, lookup, and other advanced functions).
- SQL (MySQL, MS SQL, BigQuery)
- VBA and Power BI an advantage.
- Knowledge of the QSR industry, including its operations, customer dynamics, and market trends, is desirable.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Prospective candidates should be able to retrieve information from a variety of sources, such as websites, company-provided logs, emails, and calls with key contacts or face-to-face interactions.
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Multitask and adapt to new situations, and formats of data presentation and adhering to deadlines are required.
- The data analyst role requires high organization and communication skills coupled with the ability to work independently or in a group setting based on company needs.
