Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join an ever-growing Products and Programmes Team, to lead on business analysis best practice and deliver client projects.

As a Business Analyst at FSP, you will be delivering against a diverse portfolio of digital transformation programmes and projects. Working with our clients and stakeholders to onboard new bespoke technology, M365 and SharePoint, you will be able to adapt to various sizes and types of organisations in both public and private sectors.


Responsibilities

  • Capturing business requirements and processes
  • Translating organisational requirements into high quality specifications
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to develop an understanding of, and document, how the business is currently operating and the requirements to enable them to progress
  • Facilitate the identification, documentation and quality assurance of business requirements, process and change objectives throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work with cross functional teams, (Developers, User Experience, Solution Architects and Delivery Managers) and senior stakeholders to deliver valuable service improvements
  • Providing the business with the tools, techniques, and viewpoint to identify the best way to effect change in order to meet the organisation's business goals

About you

  • 3+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally with experience of client projects
  • Expert knowledge of business analysis techniques
  • Experienced in facilitation & elicitation techniques: facilitate sessions, brainstorming, design sessions, observations, story mapping, etc.
  • Expertise in tools and techniques to analyse business processes and recommend process improvements
  • Experience of successfully redesigning processes and delivering benefits from business cases
  • Ability to analyse and produce artefacts consumable by business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Agile & Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to provide suitable test support for unit, system and User Acceptance purposes
  • Ability to manage issues, risks, and problems from identification through to resolution
  • Experience using Application Lifecycle Management tooling, e.g., Jira or Azure Dev Ops
  • Understanding of business change approach and process is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Data-modelling techniques is advantageous
