Business Analyst
Location: Southport /Hybrid
Fletchers Solicitors Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Legal Strategy & Operations Team.
To help Fletchers achieve its strategic goals and plans by helping the business deliver on effective project management. The Business Analyst will act as the conduit between the business and development team to ensure all requirements are documented and delivered upon in the timescales agreed with the project Managers.
The role will help our business to develop a culture of continuous improvement, using process improvement methodologies to build capability at all levels, as well as identifying opportunities to deliver improved processes across Fletchers.

Main Responsibilities for the role:
- Support the Head of LS&O and Director of LS&O to work with Directors and Heads of Department across the business, to build a positive culture of change within Fletchers.
- Work with all departments in the firm to identify, capture, and design improvement opportunities.
- Work with people leaders to develop and integrate a lean management system to drive operations ways of working (e.g., development of SOPs, process coaching, problem solving sessions, visual management and aligning of KPIs to customer needs)
- Management of the continuous improvement pipeline, tracker, and process of moving the initiatives to implementation
- Management of key continuous improvement initiatives and business wide projects
- Undertake analysis of business performance to generate ongoing insights for improvement.
- Willingness to travel between Manchester, Southport, Leeds, and Liverpool offices (will be expensed as required)
The ideal candidate will have:
- A successful track record of advocating and utilising lean methodologies to deliver sustainable benefits in an office environment.
- A detailed understanding of agile and waterfall ways of working and the differences between them.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and share information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience of managing projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office package including advanced level knowledge of Excel.
- Lean or Lean Six Sigma Qualification is an advantage evidence of proficiency will otherwise be required at interview.
- Ability to produce clear and informative process maps and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving.
