RM Accounting & Consulting Services is a small business in Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 1V4. We are professional, customer-centric, collaborative, and our goal is to ensure all of our clients receive the best personalized advice to help meet their general accounting, personal & corporate income tax, and financial consulting needs. Along with our general services, our areas of expertise include cost control, and taking full responsibility in solving government related issues (tax problems).

We are looking for experienced Accountants to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing the full clients' files: data entry, accounting, preparing financial reports and statements, bank and credit card reconciliations, and GST/QST reports. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a minimum of one full year of experience. The Accountants will need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving, independent thinking and interpersonal skills. The fitting candidates will also need to be ready to start with minimal training.
Responsibilities:
- Compile & analyze financial statements, reports, and periodicals.
- Post daily accounting entries such as AR, AP, payroll, and bank payments.
- Create ad hoc reports for various business needs.
- Maintain financial records and accounts.
- Provide advice on financial matters.
- Implement internal control procedures.
- Perform cost and budget analysis.
- Prepare tax returns and other documents as required by law, mainly GST/QST
Qualifications:
- College or Bachelor's degree in accounting/related field
- Proficiency in English & French (written/spoken)
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive)
- Profound knowledge in Sage50 & QuickBooks
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
