Position Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Business Analysis team based in our Glasgow Head Office on a fixed term basis (12 months fixed term). This role will be fundamental to the success of a programme of work designed to improve all aspects of our CRM strategy and capabilities for The Macallan. The Business Analyst will be fundamental to the success of the programme and will play a hands-on role supporting the project to replace the existing retail payment solution currently used across The Macallan Estate and retail boutiques globally.
Job Description
Some other key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Engage with stakeholders to effectively elicit, document, and manage business requirements through whole project lifecycle
  • Global stakeholder and market interaction, being the single point of contact for business requirement capture
  • Support the RFI & RFP processes to select the best solution and vendor
  • Support the Product Owner in development and prioritisation of backlog, taking into account associated business outcomes and/or effective return on investment (ROI)
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements by working closely with subject matter experts
  • Collaborate with business functions to define and document customer journeys, processes, and business rules
  • Modelling As-Is and To-Be business processes and identifying opportunities, risks, and impacts
  • Help to create User Acceptance Test (UAT) Scripts and support the testing process
  • Support training and communication of system enhancements
  • Contribute to the Business Analyst Practice through the creation and sharing of knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices based on project experiences
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills and understand both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. An understanding of the full requirements lifecycle and, business data and legal requirements is essential.
