CoolCare is one of the fastest growing care home administration software providers in the UK. Based on three decades of producing care home management software and running homes, we know the challenges and the solutions that will improve the operation of care homes and care home groups.
We are looking for someone who encapsulates the CoolCare culture with at least 2 years of relevant business analyst experience. The role is offered on a hybrid working model, primarily working from home but requiring a few days working from the office per month.
The role is offered full-time.
Role Details
In the role of Business Analyst, you help our teams to succeed in their business goals by analysing the residential care market to determine our best course of action in terms of our product development and service offering.
By conducting research consisting of customer contact and market research, you will understand what business outcomes care homes want to achieve and help our teams to create and prioritise the best solutions via CoolCare’s products and services.
The main responsibilities of your role will require you to:
· Perform market research to understand the current and future requirements of residential care homes.
· Obtain feedback from CoolCare customers regarding our existing solutions.
· Define and document requirements, following effective, agile methodology
· Understand the CoolCare value proposition, combining that with your industry findings to inform future development of our products and services.
· Workshop ideas and solutions with your colleagues and our customers to ensure the best outcome.
· Prepare and deliver reports of your findings to leadership with risk and impact assessments.
· Work with the Managing Director and Product Owner to define the development roadmap and prioritisation of individual development goals and tickets.
· Work with the Development Team to ensure the solutions produced match the expectations of the industry and achieve the desired outcomes.
· Regularly report on changes, challenges and opportunities in the industry.
· Identify problems with existing/new solutions offered and work with the relevant teams to identify potential solutions.
· All other duties as deemed reasonable by your Line Manager.
Required Experience and Attributes
· Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or in related business management
· Analytic ability to identify market/customer needs
· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent IT literacy
· Excellent presentational skills
· Proficiency in written and spoken communication
· Yorkshire based hybrid-worker
Desirable experience and Attributes
· Qualifications in Business Studies, Business Administration, Computer Science or a similar field desirable.
· Experience in SaaS business is desirable
· Agile certification or experience working with agile methodology
· Expertise writing and maintaining product backlogs from epics to user stories.
· Experience in care market would be beneficial
