Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a part time weekend/relief worker to join our teams in the Cromer/North Walsham and Breckland areas. With ambitious plans for the future, there has not been a more exciting time to join us.
Hourly rate of pay £11.42 inclusive of £1 per hour attendance bonus
Traditional Norfolk Poultry grows and processes free range and organic chickens and turkeys to RSPCA assured standards in the unspoilt East Anglian countryside - while our purpose-designed processing centre, also RSPCA assured guarantees our birds continue to receive the utmost care.
Key Duties:
· Provide farm cover on rest and holiday days.
-Maintain bird health, welfare, compliance and monitoring performance
· Setting up and maintenance of site equipment
· · To check weigh birds as required
· Administer routine vaccines and appropriate treatments where required
Essential skills and experience required
· Previous experience with livestock
· Good communicator and well organised
· Ability to accurately record and understand farm information
· Team player
· Flexible approach to working
· UK Driving licence
Desirable
· Good understanding and experience of all aspects of poultry production
· Excellent understanding of bird welfare issues
·Qualifications
· Level 2 or 3 WBDA or NVQ qualification in poultry production

Hours and days
8 - 16 hours (l or 2 days per week)
Hourly rate of pay
£10.42 plus £1 per hour attendance bonus
