As an IT business analyst, youâll develop leading-edge business solutions. Partnering with your team of architects, developers, testers, leading junior analysts, and other key stakeholders, youâll identify clientsâ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. Youâll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and youâll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, youâll deliver high business value products to the Veterans Administration.

You Have:
2+ years of experience as a business or functional analyst
Experience with facilitating requirements elaboration sessions with end users and stakeholders
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to translate business needs into effective and detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience as a business or functional analyst in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with federal contracting, including the Department of Veterans Affairs
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, or Kanban
Experience with government or Healthcare IT industries
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Azure

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,200.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.Work Model
