:Project Summary
:Do you have experience of providing Business Analysis expertise, on a Financial Services project / programme?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client (a leading Life, Pensions & Investments company), in the Business Analysis for a payments system replacement. The programme will decommissioning the current application and implement the new application. Discovery has been completed to select and purchase the new application and now the programme is moving onto requirements definition.
The project needs a consultant who:
- has approx 3 to 5 years of business analysis experience with at least one project in Financial Services
- is logical and methodical
- is able to translate complex information into requirements / process maps
Key Areas of Work
:The key services that you'll be asked to provide are:
- To understand strategic business objectives and drivers for the project
- Deliver detailed business analysis and requirements using predetermined methods to the agreed standard of quality and within the specified constraints of cost, risk and time in order to effectively support the change required by the business.
- Validating scope and agreeing with Lead Business Analyst all appropriate analysis activities on a project, including the detailed output documentation required
Mandatory Skills/Experience
:Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience of 3 to 5 years of business analysis experience in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment
- Familiarity with a variety of Business Analysis tools and techniques
- Good attention to detail and a concern for accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to produce high quality, detailed and thorough analysis documentation in order to present information effectively and clearly to stakeholders
Optional Skills/Experience
:It will also be advantageous if you:
- have previous experience on a payments or finance project / programme
